Holy shit! That is amazing. I'm so glad to see the Detroit press finally giving them some love.
Yeah, the Metro Times and Real Detroit usually cover strange things. Everytime I pick up a copy I only really recognize one band or two.
Usually there is coverage about all these garage and classic rock bands that no one has ever heard of. There is amazing music being made in Michigan that Detroit reaps the benefits of. I guess it's our lame "Detroit Rock City" persona.
A: Hey man, going to the Ted Nugent concert?
B: Nope sorry, I'm going to Kid Rock's show. D12 is opening. It's going to be off the hook.
It's strange that this kind of stuff has dominated the press for years. Who owns real det and metrotimes?
