ELFest!!!

You may have heard some rumblings about this, so let us make it official

Just Haircuts and Jackets is pleased to announce and present to you: ELFest!

You may ask yourself, “What is ELFest?”

Well, ELFest is a live, two-day acoustic affair taking place in the backyard of none other than Miss Annie Moss.

You may think, “I don’t know where this backyard is.”

Said backyard is located at 1016 Michigan Ave. in East Lansing (we called it ELFest ‘cuz it’s in East Lansing).

You may wonder “When is ELFest?”

It’s taking place Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3.

Yes...2007.

You may lie awake at night, pondering “Who will be playing ELFest?”

“Will this cost me anything?” you may think, thumbing through your wallet.

Yes. A $5 admission fee will charged; but instead of going into our grubby, little blogging hands, it will go into the less-grubby (or more-grubby... who knows) hands of the children at Michigan State University’s Community Music School.

So come one, come all to what will assuredly be the best way to kick off your summer.

Annie and I both agree — and will talk to you at length about this — that backyard shows like ELFest are one of the many things that make Michigan’s local scenes so great. There’s really no reason not to come.
